Open a game’s seat map and compare a few sections on each level. Sideline seats look across the court at both baskets; baseline seats look down its length from behind a hoop; corners sit between the two. Compare the row and the listing notes, not just the section.

Crypto.com Arena reports that about two-thirds of its seating is in the lower level, so there is rarely just one “cheap section” to aim for. Start with the view you want. Sideline seats look across the floor at both baskets and the benches. Baseline seats sit behind a hoop, where play at your end feels close and the far end looks distant. Upper-level seats are farther from the floor but show spacing and plays as they develop.
Compare like with like: the same game, the same quantity, and, for example, a sideline seat upstairs against a baseline seat downstairs. Check the row as well as the section, and read the listing notes for any limited view. Don’t assume courtside or premium seats will be listed for a given game; only what the seat map shows is on sale.
Opponent, day of the week and holiday dates all shape how Lakers ticket prices compare across a season. If several dates work, open two or three and price the same seating area at each. The Games filter narrows the schedule to home games, but still read the venue line on every game: road games against the Clippers are at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, and a preseason home date can occasionally be played at a neutral site.

Crypto.com Arena stands at 1111 S. Figueroa Street, on the corner of Chick Hearn Court beside L.A. LIVE. For many visitors the simplest arrival is Metro Rail: Pico Station on the A and E Lines is about two minutes away on foot. The arena also lists DASH Route F stops on Figueroa, and if you drive it recommends checking routes and real-time traffic in Waze.
Build the journey into your budget, because Metro fare, parking or a rideshare can change which game is the better value for a group. Check the entry rules as well. The arena uses AXS Mobile ID in the AXS app, re-entry requires a Guest Services scan first, and door times vary by event, so check the arena’s event page on game day.
The schedule above lists what is on sale now, which can include preseason, regular-season and Emirates NBA Cup games. According to the NBA, every Cup game counts in the regular-season standings except the championship. You may also see knockout-round entries marked “If Necessary” or against “TBD”. Those depend on results and may never be played, so read the event name and the listing terms before buying.
Playoff games are not part of the regular-season schedule, and this guide doesn’t assume the Lakers will qualify. Only consider postseason tickets for a game that is actually scheduled and listed. Whatever the game, a ticket admits you to the event; it doesn’t promise that any particular player will appear. Injuries, rest and roster moves are outside the seller’s control, so choose a night you’ll enjoy whoever suits up.
HOME COURT / DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES
Lakers home games are played at Crypto.com Arena on South Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles, beside L.A. LIVE. The Kings and the Sparks also call the building home, so confirm the event and date on your listing, then read the arena’s A–Z guide before you leave.
LA Metro’s Crypto.com Arena guide points riders to Pico Station on the A and E Lines, about a two-minute walk: head one block west on Pico Boulevard, turn right onto Figueroa Street, and the arena is two blocks north on your left. 7th Street/Metro Center, served by the A, B, D and E Lines, is roughly a 15-minute walk south along Figueroa.
The arena’s parking page lists official lots and garages, including the West and East Garages, and its A–Z guide says digital parking passes must be shown at the gate; on-phone receipts aren’t accepted. Rideshare uses marked white zones on eastbound Chick Hearn Court and on southbound Figueroa Street between 12th Street and Pico. Bags, backpacks and clear bags are not allowed; clutches and wallets smaller than 5 x 9 x 1 inches are.
